Demolition, site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the construction of a 98,550-square-foot, two-story above grade multi-residential development; for the renovation of a 42-unit multi-residential development; for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for paving for a multi-residential development; 2,052-square-foot clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a multi-residential development.

In addition to the $2 million award it received March 19, it also received an extension on its $16.5 million project revenue bond from the Bernalillo County Commission in a December 2024 meeting. Albuquerque Housing Authority will build 46 units, 30 of which will be approximately 905-square-foot, two-bedroom units, and 16 of which will be about 1,019-square-foot, three-bedroom units. It will also renovate the existing 42 units, 32 of which will be approximately 1,019-square-foot, three-bedroom units and 10 of which will be about 1,226-square-foot, four-bedroom units. Renovations include new plumbing and electrical systems, heat pumps, water heaters, added insulation, new sheetrock and new windows, doors, cabinets and flooring. Amenities on the 7.74-acre site will include a community building, basketball court and bike paths. Jeebs and Zuzu LLC is the general contractor for the project, according to previous Albuquerque Business First reporting. The units will be income-restricted as follows. 44 units will be income-restricted to tenants making less than or equal to 60% of the area median income 17 units will be income-restricted to tenants making less than or equal to 50% of the area median income 27 units will be income-restricted to tenants making less than or equal to 30% of the area median income ___________________________________________________________________________________ https://www.bizjournals.com/albuquerque/news/2024/12/12/bernco-commissioners-ok-housing-inducements.html Casitas del Camino The commissioners unanimously approved a resolution to extend the expiration date for a $16.5 million project revenue bond for the Casitas del Camino project. Located on the Westside, this project revenue bond would finance the acquisition and rehabilitation of an existing 42-unit public housing property and the construction of an additional 46 units for a total of 88 affordable housing units. Jeebs and Zuzu LLC is listed as the general contractor for the project on the building permit. Albuquerque Housing Authority spearheads the project. _______________________________________________ The Project consists of The renovation of 42 Existing single-family and duplex homes, the Construction of 46 New Units, and the Construction of a New Community Building with landscaping at both property locations. Davis- Bacon Wage Rates apply. As of September 3, 2024, addendum 5 has been issued, extending the bid date to September 10, 2024. DESCRIPTION OF ALTERATIONS WORK A. Scope of demolition and removal work is indicated on drawings. B. Scope of alterations work is indicated on drawings. C. Hazardous Materials Remediation: The existing project site has been identified to include Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) which are to be removed and remediated. Reports identifying ACMs have been included in the Project Manual. D. Plumbing: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. E. HVAC: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. F. Electrical Power and Lighting: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. G. Telephone: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. Construction is anticipated to start fourth quarter 2024 and take approximately 18 months to complete. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
