Concrete intersections for roadway and drainage improvements on Geneva and South 2nd Street, Geneva and South 1st Street, and Jean Street and South 2nd Street. Estimate: $325,000.00 to $350,000.00 A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Slaton or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Slaton reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. The Work will be substantially complete within 30 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Section 47 of the General Conditions within 60 calendar days.
