A certified or cashier's check or Bidder's Surety Bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder at the time of bid, to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary bonds within fifteen (15) days from and after the date the award is made. The successful contractor shall provide statutory and performance bonds each in the amount of 100% of the total bid price. All purchased transformers and fans are to be delivered FOB to specified WLMCD site no later than May 31, 2026. Liquidated damages shall be assessed at $200 for each and every day after May 31 2026 until all purchased transformers and fans are delivered to their specified WLMCD sites. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all quotes in accordance with the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Conditional quotes shall not be accepted.
