Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the Glendale Sand Yard Improvements including grading the entire yard to improve drainage, procuring and installing new 3-walled metal building to protect stockpile bays, constructing foundation for 3-walled building, pouring concrete slabs for stockpile bays, and extending the concrete driveway into the yard. Each Bidder's proposal must be accompanied by a copy of a cashier's check made payable to TMWA or Bid Bond acceptable to TMWA in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Bidder's base Bid Proposal. The original cashier's check or Bid Bond must be received by TMWA within 7 calendar days of bid closing. All Bidders shall be licensed by the State of Nevada (and/or California if applicable) to do the type and value of work contemplated in this project. The successful Bidder shall possess a valid and applicable contractor's license issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board under the provisions of Chapter 624 of Nevada Revised Statutes (and/or California if applicable), at the time of submitting its bid. TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or any part of a Bid. TMWA reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder who previously failed to perform adequately for TMWA or any other governmental agency, who is in default on the payment of taxes, licenses, or other monies due to TMWA or any other governmental agency. TMWA reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received, and to reject all Bids. In the case of rejection of all Bids, TMWA reserves the right to advertise for new Bids or to proceed to do the work otherwise if it is in the best interest of TMWA.
