The Oswegoland Park District will receive sealed bids for the Farmington Lakes Improvements Project. This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, "Open Space Lands Acquisition & Development" (OSLAD) grant program. Question Deadline 07/29/2024 No oral interpretation by the park district will be binding; only instructions in writing will be deemed valid. To receive written consideration, requests for interpretation must be made no later than three working days prior to the date set for receipt of bids. Contractors must have experience in this type and size of work for a minimum of five years and will be required to furnish references and examples of projects. CONTRACTOR shall provide all items, articles, materials, operations or methods mentioned or scheduled on the Drawings or herein specified: including all labor, supervision, equipment, incidentals, taxes, and permits necessary to complete the Work as described within the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall install all items provided by OWNER as mentioned or scheduled on the Drawings or herein specified. B. All Work shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Illinois Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (SSRBC), adopted January 1, 2022, and the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions adopted January 1, 2024. The Oswegoland Park District encourages minority contractors and sub-contractors to submit a bid for the project. Bid security and performance bonds will be required. Contractors will be required to comply with equal employment opportunities and the Illinois Department of Labor prevailing wage rates for Kendall County.
