AWWTP Organic Rankine Cycle Generator Work consists of installation of owner procured ORC generators and remote radiators. Bidder will be required to have Performance Bond/Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract. Cost of Bond shall be included in Bid. No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid, payable to the City as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10 days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. If the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed for the best interests of the City and to waive any informalities in the bidding. The award of this Contract under this Advertisement for Bids is contingent upon compliance with the City obtained Energy Innovation Grant Program. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in Wisconsin Administrative Code and appropriate State Statutes, and the use of American made iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction products. Any Contract awarded under this Advertisement for Bids must demonstrate compliance with Davis Bacon wage rates and utilize a minimum of 15% of the labor hours spent on the project hired out to a registered apprenticeship program.
