The work also consists of connecting the replaced water main to a higher water pressure system as well as fire hydrant replacement and internal home plumbing work. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % A Bid Bond in the Amount of 5 Percent of the Bid Amount is Required if the Project Amount is in Excess of $50,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Contract Amount Will Be Required if the Project Amount is in Excess of $50,000.00.
