As of June 14, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award was not yet been established. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) and accompanying specifications are to provide instructions and assistance in submitting an offer for construction of an Impound Lot for the Routt County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) to be located at 11430 County Road 51A. The intent is to have a fully executed contract by June 14, 2024, and the project completed no later than October 15, 2024. 1. Provide and install security fencing, cattle fencing, and repairs to existing cattle fencing for RCSO impound lot to be located at 11430 County Road 51A. 2. Security fencing shall be 6' in height and consist of chain link style fencing topped with three rows of barbed wire. Fencing shall include an access opening of 24 feet with outswing gates. Gates shall be installed with 12-14 inches of clearance from the ground and shall be manually operated. Fenced dimensions are approximately 100' x 120' x 110' x 173' for a total of 503 linear feet including access opening. 3. Cattle fencing shall consist of approximately 280 linear feet of three rows of barbless double strand wire with wood posts approximately every 15 feet. Cattle fencing shall extend from corners of security fencing and terminate at existing fence. 4. Existing fence repair shall consist of post and wire repair as needed - to be identified at site visit. Question Deadline 05/17/2024 at 5:00 PM MT All questions must be received, in writing and shall be directed only to Routt County Purchasing Agent Julie Kennedy at jkennedy@co.routt.co.us. Answers to questions received that would change and/or clarify this solicitation will be provided in writing, via an addendum to all firms that have received the original RFP after the date for questions has expired. In this way, we hope to eliminate multiple addendums. Routt County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) reserves the right to reject any or all proposal responses and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in proposal responses received, and to accept any portion of the proposal response that is deemed to be in the best interest of Routt County.
