The selected contractor must remove the existing dome back section only. The selected
contractor is responsible for the removal of all scrap materials and is responsible for the
disposal of scrap materials.
The selected contractor must provide and install new backstops that meet the following
specifications. The new backstops must be black vinyl coated chain link fencing that is
10ft high. The backstops must also have 30 tall netting system above the 10 tall chain
link fence.
10 Fence Details:
Posts must be 3 OD
Top, middle and bottom rails with a 2 OD
Bottom rail shall be a max of 2 above finished grade
2 Mesh with 6 gauge wire

30 Backstop Netting Detail:
Net shall be 30 high from the top of the 10 fence
Netting shall be 1-3/4 Black Notted Weather Treated Square Baseball
Netting
Netting shall be attached to the 10 fencing with spring loaded zinc snaps
and heavy duty tie wraps
Netting posts shall be appropriate size and OD to properly support the
above specifications
Netting posts shall be black stryk coated steel (for netting system)

The project location is Centennial Park at 15300 West Ave, Orland Park IL 60462 fields 6 thru 9.
