Services are being sought with a focus on the following objectives: strengthen and support local emergency shelters; expand local shelter options and to increase the effectiveness of transitioning the homeless into housing for the County's Community Services Agency Housing and Homeless Division located at 251 E. Hackett Road, Modesto, CA 95358. The CSA's mission is to build community by cultivating safety, stability, and resiliency - strengthening the foundation for all. CSA operates and has oversight of a variety of social welfare programs that provide cash assistance and social services and supports for the benefit of the community. CSA strives to serve, aid, and protect needy and vulnerable children and adults in ways that strengthen and preserve families, encourage personal responsibility, and foster independence. The CSOC vision is to create a community where homelessness is rare, brief and non-recurring. CSOC establishes programs and systems, in partnership with the community, to ensure that all persons and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness have access to secure a permanent, safe, decent and affordable place to live.
