Project Description: The City of Lansing has purchased 5 tanks to replace existing tanks: 3 Ferric Chloride and 2 Sodium Hypochlorite. The Work includes the following major items: 1. Replacement of three Ferric Chloride Storage Tanks within the South Chemical Building. 2. Replacement of two Sodium Hypochlorite Storage Tanks within the Hypochlorite Storage Building. 3. Removal and replacement of the roof on the two chemical storage rooms to facilitate replacement of the existing Chemical Storage Tanks. 4. Painting of the interior of two chemical storage rooms. 5. Removal and replacement of electrical and HVAC equipment hung from the interior ceiling of the two chemical storage rooms. 6. Removal or replacement of chemical fill lines, suction lines, drain lines, vent lines, process water lines, and air lines associated with chemical tanks. 7. Instrumentation and controls.
