Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elmhurst, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The removal and replacement of the existing garden path and block wall along with drainage improvements. The successful contractor must provide required proof of insurance within ten days of the award of the contract. This is a State of Illinois/DuPage/Cook County prevailing wage project. Contractors and subcontractors performing work on this project are solely responsible for determining the applicable prevailing wage rates at the time of written proposal submissions and performance of the work. The Elmhurst Park District Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder. It is the contractor's/ bidder's responsibility to field verify conditions and dimensions and to report any discrepancy to the project manager in writing (Daniel Payne, Assistant Director/Director of Parks, e-mail: dpayne@epd.org).
