Synthetic Turf Fields for the Field of Dreams Sports Complex The following is a short description of the project: Description: The project will consist of demolition of existing fencing and fields, grading to remove organics, concrete curbing, install geotextile liner, infill for the fields according to Shaw standards, drainage and install for synthetic turf (owner will provide all turf) on the athletic fields at the Field of Dreams in Rainsville AL. This will consist of the 4 complex fields that will be190' in length and Shaw exclusive Game on field for the City's High School Softball Field. New heavy-duty fusion bonded 8 gauge2" mesh black vinyl fencing to be used in all locations on the perimeters of the field where galvanized fencing currently exists. Anew block back stop shall be installed (see plans) where it is not already in place. Netting systems to be installed in lieu of chain link backstops as well as all walking areas around the concession stand. The Owner requires that the Contractors that submit a bid should have completed 10 previous Shaw fields, as well as a sports complex of similar size. The Owner requires the Project to be completed in Phases: o Phase 1- The City's High School Softball Field will have a completion date of December 1, 2024. o Phase 2- Fields 1through 4 will need to be completed before February 20, 2024.
