Site work for a water / sewer project in El Dorado, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of approximately 560 LF of 8"/10" waterline by open cut and directional drill and approximately 100 LF of steel casing by boring. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions or certified check. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for any or all Parts, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. Owner will reject the Bid of any Bidder that Owner finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to not be responsible. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
