This segment is one of the twelve highest volume roadways within the City and has not seen a resurfacing of the wearing course of asphalt since prior to the City's incorporation. The purpose of this project is to reconstruct the wearing course of asphalt along 112th Street between South Tacoma Way and Steele Street. Improvements also include pavement repair, grinding, two-inch overlay, channelization, upgrading sidewalk ramps to conform with ADA, and signage.
