**As of September 13, 2024 project has not been awarded, Anticipated award for the project is on October 8, 2024.** The Port of San Francisco (the "Port") announces an Invitation for Bids ("IFB") for construction on Crane Cove Park Playgrounds and Dog Park in San Francisco, CA. The project scope is demolition of existing site features and structures and constructing new landscape improvements to Crane Cove Park that include a children's playground ("Tot Lot"), a natural play area called the "Rigger's Yard," and a Dog Park. The contract also includes installation of security fencing along the Shipyard adjacent to the Dog Park. Scopes of work include demolition, grading, play equipment installation, synthetic turf installation, storm drainage, site lighting, foundation installation for play structures and fencing, signage, planting, fencing, plumbing for a drinking fountain, irrigation and concrete paving. Time Allowed for Completion: Critical Milestone work: Security Fencing Scopes of work listed under Bid Item 5 and Bid Alternate A3 of the Bid Schedule (Section 00 41 00) is Critical Milestone work in this Project; it must be brought to Substantial completion no later than May 31, 2025. Substantial Completion 270 consecutive Calendar Days beginning with and including the official date of the Notice to Proceed set by the City. Final Completion: No later than sixty (60) consecutive Calendar Days after the date of City's issuance of Notice of Substantial Completion Insurance Requirements: Please refer to Section 00 73 16. The winning Bidder will be required to submit requisite insurance documentation within ten (10) working days after the date on which the contract is awarded. Bid security in the form of a corporate surety bond or an irrevocable letter of credit (or certified check if required bid security is $15,000 or less) for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid must accompany each bid. Minimum wage rates for this project must comply with the current General Prevailing Wage as determined by the State Department of Industrial Relations.
