RFP Engineering - Replacement of Bridge S-31 (AKA Oceanic Bridge) on County Route 8A over the Navesink River. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Applicable Regulations Include, but Are Not Necessarily Limited to, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (Dbe) Participation. The Dbe Participation Requirement for the Project is a Minimum 9.95 % of the Total Project Cost. Proposals Are Being Solicited Through a Fair and Open Process in Accordance With N.j.s.a. 19:44a-20.3, Et Seq., and as Such, Contractors/consultants Are Exempt From the Limitations on Making Political Contributions Under That Law. Further, for That Reason, as Well as Because of Language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, Refusal to Disclose Campaign Contributions Otherwise Required by N.j.s.a. 19:44a-20.2 Et Seq. And 19:44a-20.25 Et Seq., Will Not Adversely Affect Your Consideration for Award. Proposals for the Project Must Be Submitted in a Sealed Package and Must Include the Following: Completed "Proposal Checklist" Furnished in the Project's Rfp; Consultant's Qualifications; Seven (7) (One Unbound Original and Six (6) Copies) Technical Proposal Based on the Project's Rfp. No Man-hours Shall Be Included in the Technical Proposal; and One (1) Separately Sealed Envelope Containing Seven (7) (One Unbound Original and Six (6) Copies) of the Cost Proposal, Identifying as Such, and Bearing the Project Name and the Name and Address of the Consultant. Proposal Packages Shall Bear the Project Name, the Name and Address of the Consultant on the Outside, and Must Be Addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the Division of Purchasing, County of Monmouth. The Right is Reserved to Reject Any or All Proposals if It is Deemed to Be in the Best Interest of the County of Monmouth.
