The City of Bay Village is accepting Bids from Contractors to make repairs to an existing sanitary sewer lift station and electrical generator. Bids must be submitted on the original bid forms provided when purchased. All bidding requirements are identified in the Bidding Documents. Filarski, PE, BO filarski@cvelimited.com (440) 399-0810 This project shall consist of the site preparation and installation of a new diesel generator pre-purchased by the City, and the provision and installation of a new automatic transfer switch, electrical work, concrete pad, bollards, the removal of existing generator components, and all other work as shown on the plans and specifications prepared by Chagrin Valley Engineering, Ltd. and TEC, Inc. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to assure the maintenance of sewage flow during the construction sequence. Discharge of sanitary sewage to the environment is not permissible. The Contractor shall not be permitted to shut the existing pump station down without approval from the City of Bay Village Service Staff. The Contractor shall provide at least three days' notice prior to the approved shut down. CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE The diesel generator and housing delivery date is estimated to be approximately January 20, 2025. All work for the diesel generator shall be finished before the delivery date to allow for immediate installation. This item shall consist of the removal of the existing diesel generator, underground fuel tank, automatic transfer switch, service main disconnect switch, and all electrical associated with the existing diesel generator. This item shall also include sealing the existing damper to prevent air transfer through the wall.
