Question Deadline 10/03/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Remove existing railing at front entrance ramp at curbs and walls and custom fabricate supply and install new railings. New rails to consists of 1 dia. tube handrails and to be post mounted at ramp using core drilled holes where required into existing sidewalk. New rails will be attached to walls at lower areas. New rails at upper areas will require guard rails at top of ramp which will provide protection at those areas and will allow new rails to meet code. These new guardrails will have 2 dia. post with 1 cap and 3/16 cables. All of this rail mimics same design at new theatre across the street. Includes all layout, fabrication, installation, core drilling for a complete installation. Contractor will pay each employee not less than the highest minimum wage rate applicable to its employees, including minimum rates for H-2B laborers (as indicated in Contractors Application for Temporary Employment Certification, which amount equals or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage, the promised wage, and the federal, state and local minimum wage), and, if and when applicable, the highest overtime rate required by applicable law for all overtime hours worked by employees. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Contractor shall pay its employees in accordance with applicable H-2B regulations. The City Parish specifically reserves the right to evaluate bids and award items separately, grouped or on an all or none basis, to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the City parish, and to reject all proposals if that is in the best interest of the City Parish
