: Roof Replacement The successful Bidder is allowed One-Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days to complete the Project from the commencement date stated in the Agreement or a Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,000.00 for each consecutive calendar day for which the work is not substantially complete and $1,000.00 for each consecutive calendar day beginning the 46th day after the date of Substantial Completion for which all of the work listed on the punch list is not complete. East Baton Rouge Parish School Board reserves the right to award the project on whatever basis is in the interest of the Owner and to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities as allowed by law. The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board has adopted a Fair Share Procurement Policy with a goal of at least twenty (20%) percent participation by MWBEs. The policy and goal apply to this project. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. This scope will consist of the demolition of the existing roofing system over Buildings A, A1, B, and E of Delmont Pre-K Center. This scope of work shall also include all necessary removal and / or replacement of existing Mechanical and Electrical equipment in order to replace the roofing system. 2. Scope includes any other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. 1.5 OWNER FURNISHED PRODUCTS A. None. 1.6 ACCESS TO SITE A. General: Contractor shall have full use of Project site for construction operations during construction period. Contractor's use of Project site is limited only by Owner's right to perform work or to retain other contractors on portions of Project. B. Condition of Existing Grounds: The contractor will be allowed to store materials on the campus site. The site is large. The contractor shall clearly identify the area needed for construction parking and staging and shall keep within these limits. The school board will maintain the grounds beyond their boundaries.
