The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Commonwealth), Department of General Services (DGS) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit details that could be used to assist with the development and creation of documentation for Hard Floor & Carpet Cleaning Services. The Department of General Services (DGS), Bureau of Facilities Management (BFM) is responsible for the cleaning of approx. 30 buildings, equaling approx. eight (8) million square feet of space throughout the Capitol and Annex Complexes and Governor's Residence located in Harrisburg, PA as well as the Reading and Scranton State Office Buildings. The goal is to identify the cleaning methods and estimated pricing in order to establish a schedule for floor cleaning maintenance. The Commonwealth is requesting feedback from firms with expertise in Hard Floor & Carpet Cleaning as set forth below: 1) Include a cover letter, with the RFI response, on Company Letterhead, which includes a point of contact name, phone number and email address. 2) Complete Attachment A, Hard Floor & Carpet Cleaning Questionnaire. Please respond to the questions in the questionnaire and limit the responses to these questions only. 3) Complete Attachment B, Trade Secret/Confidential Proprietary Notice. Point of Contact.
