Saving Project...

Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the construction of a 12,000-square-foot transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of 8/20/2024, the bid opening date for the project of September 12, 2024 is being postponed. Owner anticipates that the project will be bid in January 2025. All current planholders will be notified and provided with a new set of bid documents at that time. General, Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical (HVAC) Construction Work will include but not be limited to: a new 12,000 sf hangar, concrete work, wall partitions, restroom, break room, conference room, pilot office, storage areas, exterior work, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, parking lot pavement and all related work. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, payable to the order of the County of Indiana, or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 10 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. Work on this project is expected to start and be completed in 2025 with a 240-day completion period. The County of Indiana reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. Prevailing wages established under the Pennsylvania Department of Labor will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards.
