The Project will be constructed as one contract consisting of: Furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment as required to construct a new building for storage and to house a new control valve assembly to control flow to the St. Leon Elevated Water Storage Tank. Project includes building, piping and valves, site work along with SCADA and electrical work, complete. In addition to these items of work there are other miscellaneous items of work necessary and as specified to make this project complete. If the question involves equality or use of products or methods, it must be accompanied by drawings, specifications, or other data, in sufficient detail to enable the Engineer to determine the equality or suitability of the product or method. In general, the Engineer will neither approve nor disapprove particular products prior to the opening of the bids; such products will be considered when offered by the Contractor for incorporation into the work The Project will be constructed as one, two, or three contracts. Owner reserves the right to issue one combined contract, or multiple contracts as Proposals "A", "B", & "C". Proposal "A" consisting furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment as required to construct a new building for storage. Project "A" includes concrete footings, foundation, floor slab, steel exterior walls & steel roof, doors, insulation, electrical unit heater, dehumidification equipment, & electrical complete along with a SCADA allowance. Addition to these items of work there are other miscellaneous items of work necessary and as specified to make this project complete. Proposal "B" consisting furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment asrequired to construct new ductile iron piping, fittings, and valves. Project "A" includes installation of cut-in tees, by-pass valve, a butterfly control valve, check valve, and air release valve.
