This project's goal is to resurface three road segments at approximately 2 miles combined in length. The bulk of full depth pavement repair has been completed in previous years. The majority of the road segments will receive a 3' grind and 3' HMA overlay. The remaining minority will simply require a 3' HMA overlay in areas that have received pavement repair. Although, all segments are designated bike routes in Newcastle's Non-Motorized Plan, some are not exclusive bike lanes. There are ADA retrofits on all segments; the quantity and overall segments lengths are listed below: SE May Creek Park Dr. has a segment length of 1.25 miles and 3 ADA retrofits. (FCID 1338 - Begin: SE 86th Pl, End: 125th Pl SE). 112th Ave SE segment length is 0.25 miles and 4 ADA retrofits. (FCID 1342 - Begin: SE 64th St, End: Newcastle Way). 116th Ave SE has a segment length of 0.50 miles with 7 ADA retrofits. (FCID 1313 - Begin: Newcastle Way, End: SE 76th St).
