Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: The furnishing of all labor, material, plant, utilities, and services required for the construction of the Route 51 Pump Station Upgrades. Bids are requested for the Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $1,675,000.00 for 2024-01A and $1,145,000.00 for 2024-01B. The Project has an expected duration of six hundred forty (640) days. The Owner herby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are located in Section 01000. All questions are due by 4:30 P.M. on Friday, September 20, 2024. Work under Contract 2024-01A and 2024-01B covers the furnishing of all labor, material, plant, utilities, and services required for the construction of the Route 51 Pump station Upgrades. The project is in Patterson Township, Beaver County 1. All site work and yard piping installation required to accommodate operations of the existing facility during construction of the proposed improvements. 2. All electrical construction and equipment installation is required to facilitate operations of existing and temporary equipment during construction of proposed improvements. 3. All temporary pumps, piping, and appurtenances are required to maintain the operation of the pump station during construction of the proposed improvements. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for always maintaining wastewater flow through the pump station, either through sequencing of construction, utilization of existing or new pumps, or through bypass pumping. Any temporary shutdowns, bypass pumping, or changes in wastewater flow shall be coordinated in communication with the OWNER. 4. Contract 2024-01A - The demolition of the existing pump station structures, including, but not limited to: a. Removal of existing pumps, associated valves, piping and concrete bases. b. Removal of magnetic flow meters and other valves and piping. Removal of the Air/Vacuum Release Valve and associate piping. c. Removal of the wet well intake and exhaust fans and ducts. d. Demolition of the existing wet well chamfers, and new cores into through the existing wet well - dry well wall. e. Removal of existing sump pumps and sump pump piping. 5. Contract 2024-01A - The excavation required for all new construction including but not limited to: a. Excavation required for the installation of all valves, fittings, and piping associated with bypass valve assembly. 6. Contract 2024-01A - The installation of new pumps stations equipment and all appurtenances thereto, including but not limited to: a. Installation of new raw sewage pumps, inclusive of new concrete pump bases. b. Installation of associated piping, valves, fittings, and piping appurtenances. c. Flow meter and associated piping, valves, and fittings. d. Air/Vacuum and Surge Release valve and all associated piping, valves and fittings. e. HVAC equipment, and HVAC equipment structural supports. f. Sump pumps and all associated piping and valves. 7. Contract 2024-01B - The demolition, removal, or relocation of existing pump station equipment, including but not limited to: a. Control Panels (bubbler and gas monitor) b. Motor Control Center c. Wiring and Conduit d. Pumps e. Ground Straps for Pump Bases f. Control Valve Panels g. Sump Pump Control Panel h. Generator i. Automatic Transfer Switch 8. Contract 2024-01B - The installation of new pump station electrical equipment and all appurtenances thereto, including but not limited to: a. Temporary Power and Control Facilities b. Control Panels c. Instrumentation d. Motor Control Center e. Variable Frequency Drives f. Wiring and Conduit g. Ground Straps for Pump Bases h. Sump Pump Control Panel i. Generator j.
