Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Tilden, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for the construction of a service station / car wash facility.
Per addendum 1, the deadline for questions from Bidders for this project shall be 5 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2024. Project Description Based on the information provided to RETL, it is understood that the following improvements are planned for the Precinct One Warehouse Facility: an expansion of approximately 3,600 SF of new covered bays to the existing warehouse, a covered wash bay and fueling station, heavy equipment parking, and new HMAC pavements. Maximum point loads are assumed to be less than 50 kips. It is anticipated that a monolithic slabon-grade foundation systems will be used to support the proposed canopy bay expansion and wash bay/fueling station. If the magnitude of sitework required to construct the required structure pads for slab-on-grade foundations is deemed undesirable, underreamed drilled pier foundations may be considered for support of the structural framing elements utilized in conjunction with a floating concrete floor slab serving essentially as a concrete pavement or wearing surface. It is understood that the heavy equipment parking area will be consist of an unsurfaced aggregate pavement. The remaining paving areas will consist of HMAC access drives and automobile parking spaces
