Scope of work includes but is not limited to the following Installation of new carpet at the HAPS building. Scope of work includes but is not limited to the installation of new carpet in the entire building except for the following areas (see attached location/suite list) 1st Floor Conference room 911 Dispatch Additional work includes materials, labor, carpet removal and disposal, furniture removal, and skimcoat materials/labor. The Facilities Superintendent shall work closely with the successful bidder to coordinate work. Site Requirements Contractor understands the building is to remain occupied by staff and utilized by the public during normal working hours. Accordingly, the Contractor is to provide and maintain adequate debris and deleterious materials collection in enclosed bins, dumpsters, areas, etc. Any areas needing to be closed during specific work phases are to be coordinated with the County and appropriate signage/barricades are provided by the Contractor. At the completion of the work, all contractor equipment, materials, construction debris, and miscellaneous items used by the Contractor are to be removed from the site. The County Commissioners of Caroline County, on behalf of the Caroline County Department of Public Works, is accepting sealed bids for the removal of existing carpet and installation of new carpet at the Caroline County Health & Public Services (HAPS) facility, located at 403 S. 7th Street, Denton, Maryland. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any/or all bids.
