The Project generally consists of modifying and installing a new geosynthetic liner in the emergency lagoon at the Pinery WWTF. The site (the "Site") on which all work (the "Work") on the Project shall occur is located near Parker, Colorado, which is within the boundaries of the Owner and located in Douglas County, Colorado. The Work will be performed under a single contract and shall include furnishing and installation of all materials, labor and equipment as indicated in the Contract Documents and as otherwise required to provide a complete working system for the purpose intended. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond, as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all of the successful Bidder's obligations under the Contract Documents. The requirement that the successful Bidder furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond can be also satisfied by furnishing a combined Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond. All required bonds shall be in a form satisfactory to the Owner. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of fifty (50) days after the Bid Opening. The Notice of Award will be issued on or about August 22, 2024. Substantial and Final Completion dates, as well as liquidated damages provided for failure to meet the Substantial and Final Completion dates, will be included within the Contract Documents available to potential bidders. Pinery Water and Wastewater District is replacing their existing bentonite clay liner with a new geosynthetic liner. The existing lagoon layout includes two lagoons, separated by a berm, that operate in series. The middle berm will b e removed to create one overflow lagoon. The geosynthetic liner has been designed to comply with EPA, ASTM, and GRI standards and specifications. All work under this contract shall be completed according to the Drawings and Specifications.
