This project implements the recommendations made in arc flash studies that were performed for various MTA facilities. The scope includes replacement of electrical components to correct installations with interrupting capacity less than the calculated requirement. Questions concerning this solicitation must be received no later than 8/13/2024 at the close of the business day. No interpretations other than written shall be binding on the Administration. Each bid exceeding $100,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on a form furnished by the Administration in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price. A performance and payment bond is required for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000. The performance bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
The payment bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Multiple and/or alternate Bids will not be accepted. There are no Veteran-owned Small Business Enterprise goals for this solicitation.
