Bus Shelters Maintenance and Repairs. Contract Duration: Five (5) years base period without option periods Each Bidder must submit with its Bid a Bid Bond or other suitable security, as summarized in 4.38.4, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Evaluated Price, guaranteeing the availability of the goods and services at the offered price for 180 days after the due date for receipt of Bids. The successful Bidder must submit a Performance Bond, or other suitable security in the amount of 100% of the first year of the contract, guaranteeing that the Contractor shall well and truly perform the Contract. The Contract Monitor reserves the right to reject any individual based upon the results of the background check MBE Participation (%) 10.00 The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA or the "Administration") is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) in order to procure the services defined in this Section 2, as specified in this IFB, from a contract between the successful bidder(s) and the Maryland Transit Administration: the purpose of maintaining and repairing various types of Bus Shelters, throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area and surrounding counties.
