Please be advised that prior to receiving these materials, all requestors will be required to complete, sign, and comply with a Confidentiality Agreement. The objective of the project is to fabricate valves and install them as part of a future pipeline lining repair project along the Peninsula for safe pipeline entry. The Work is to be performed in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties, California. The City will later assign Contractor to be a subcontractor to a different prime contractor for Contract No. WD-2914 Bay Division Pipelines Nos. 1 through 4 Lining and As-Needed Pipeline Repairs, in which the WD-2914 Engineer's Estimate currently is $23,000,000, not including the WD-2910 Work. As a material term of its Agreement with the City, the Contractor will be obligated to enter into an agreement to perform work as subcontractor to this other prime contractor. Contractor shall deliver valves to the jobsites of WD-2914 and install them in coordination with the WD-2914 Contractor. To accommodate the schedules of WD-2914 and SFPUC's operations, SFPUC may require Contractor to store valves at contractor's facility. The Scope of Work includes the services described in Section 01 11 00. Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B and Section 2.01 of CM D Attachment 6. There is no LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement for Contract No. WD-2910. Bidders are required to pass the Safety Prequalification prior to SFPUC considering their bid submission complete. SFPUC will notify Bidders that have passed the Safety Prequalification prior to or on the date of Bid opening.
