A. Project Title: Replace - Upgrade Restroom Fixtures & Plumbing. B. Competition is set aside for Small Businesses. Applicable NAISC is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. C. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. D. Prospective offerors shall complete block 14, 15, and 19. E. Prospective offerors shall be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) with an active registration. 1) GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: a) Work consists of providing all labor, materials & equipment asrequired to replace outdated, unserviceable bathroom fixtures, faucets & flushometerslocated at Southeastern Fruit & Tree Nut Research Laboratory (SEFTNRL), Byron, GA. Contractor must possess a current Plumbing License issued by the State of Georgia. 2) COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK: a) Upon acceptance, the contractorshall commence work NLT fifteen (15) days after notice to proceed. Contractor will schedule work at Building 13 (Primary Maintenance Shop) and will not proceed to next scheduled building until all work is complete. Work diligently to complete the entire project to be work ready for use within 30 working days of notice to proceed. SCOPE OF WORK a) Bldg. 660605B013 Primary Maintenance Shop. i) Remove and dispose of old mop sink located in maintenance shop, install new drop in sink, new cabinet for storage, replace 3" P-trap with standard trap, install high rise faucet and in addition shut offs will need to be replaced. ii) Remove and dispose of wall hung sink in maintenance shop restroom and install new wall hung sink with automatic faucet, new P-Trap and in addition shut off's will need to be replaced. iii) Remove and dispose of male urinal in maintenance shop restroom and install new urinal with automatic flush valve iv) Remove and dispose of toilet in maintenance shop restroom and install new American Standard ADA compliant toilet with open front seat and an automatic flush valve. b) Bldg. 660605B015 - Farm Center Office restroom i) Replace manual flushometers on two urinals with Sloan Sensor Retrofit kit or similar ii) Remove and dispose of two toilets in maintenance and install new American Standard ADA compliant toilets with open front seat and an automatic flush valve. iii) Remove and dispose of 2 wall hung sinks and install new wall hung sink with automatic faucets, new P-Traps and in addition shut offs will need to be replaced. c) Bldg. 660605B001 Main Laboratory Auditorium Men and Women Restrooms i) Remove and dispose of wall hung sinks in both the Men and Women Restrooms and install new wall hung sinks with automatic faucets, new P-Traps and in addition shut offs will need to be replaced. ii) Replace manual flushometers on two toilets with Sloan Sensor Retrofit kit or similar d) Bldg. 660605B001 Main Laboratory 1st Floor Men and Women Restrooms i) Men's restroom - replace manual flushometers on one urinal and two toilets with Sloan Sensor Retrofit kit ii) Men's restroom - remove and dispose of wall hung sink and install new wall hung sink with automatic faucet, new P-Trap and in addition shut offs will need to be replaced. iii) Women's restroom - replace manual flushometers on two toilets with Sloan Sensor Retrofit kit or similar iv) Women's restroom - remove and dispose of two wall hung sink and install new wall hung sinks with automatic faucets, new P-Traps and in addition shut offs will need to be replaced. e) Bldg. 660605B001 Main Laboratory 2nd Floor Men and Women Restrooms i) Men's restroom - replace manual flushometers on two urinals and three toilets with Sloan Sensor Retrofit kit ii) Men's restroom - Remove and dispose of one cracked male urinal and install new urinal with automatic flush valve iii) Men's restroom - remove and dispose of 4 wall hung sinks and install new wall hung sinks with automatic faucets, new P-Traps and in addition shut offs will need to be replaced. iv) Women's restroom - replace manual flushometers on 4 toilets with Sloan Sensor Retrofit kit or similar v) Women's restroom - remove and dispose of four wall hung sinks and install new wall hung sinks with automatic faucets, new P-Traps and in addition shut offs will need to be replaced.
