Old Jacksonville Tank Cleaning and Mixer Installation The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
A prospective bidder, who is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the Contract Documents,
or of any addenda, may submit to the Purchasing Agent a written request for interpretation.

Phone: (217) 789-2191 Provide services to the City of Springfield through the means of performing cleaning and
washout of the Old Jacksonville Road Tank. Cleaning and washout of the tank shall be
performed specifically to the interior wet surface area and any components, ladders, or pipes
contained within the wet surface volume of the tank. Additional services include the installation
of a PAX Mixer System. The mixer, control panel, and electrical components up to required tank
cutouts shall be provided by CWLP. Installation of electrical conduit, wiring, and any other
required components up to the circuit breaker box performed by the Contractor.
BID ALTERNATE 1:
The Contractor must bid on the Base Bid in order to bid on Alternate 1. All other bid cases will
be rejected by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to require that disinfection of the tank
be performed specifically to the interior wet surface area and any components, ladders, or pipes
contained within the wet surface volume of the tank. The contractor shall follow any applicable
codes stated within this specification package when performing disinfection. The contractor
shall anticipate a 2-4 week wait between cleaning and disinfecting duties, as the Owner
completes an interior inspection and painting.
All proposals shall be in accordance with Section I of this contract and delivery time after
awarding of contract shall be stated in Section III.
