Site work for a municipal facility in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The Town of Nipawin invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the ground works and installation of a Scale at the Nipawin Area Waste Diversion Site. This project aims to enhance waste management infrastructure and streamline operations at the site. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to: Ground preparation, including excavation, grading, and compaction for ramps, pads, and scale bed. Supply and installation of concrete and rebar for the scale deck according to specifications. Installation of the scale equipment and associated electrical requirements. Connection to existing electrical service. Construction of a regulation walkway with railing along both sides of the scale. Installation of engineered pilings as per provided drawings. Preparation of the site layout as provided in the attached documents. All ground works and installations must adhere to the specifications provided in the attached documents. Materials used must meet or exceed industry standards and specifications. Electrical requirements for both the scale and site office (scale house) must be met as specified. The scale installation must be completed in a timely manner to ensure operational readiness by the fall of 2024.
