Los Tules Mutual Water Company at Warner Springs, San Diego County, Ca. is requesting sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of 2692 linear feet of 6" inch water pipeline. Scope of services is to include various interconnections to an existing 6" system, various valves, fire hydrants and other applicable appurtenances. The work to be done is delineated on construction drawings available by request. This project is publicly funded (State and Federal) and is subject to the following requirements that prohibits discrimination based on race, religion, color, creed ancestry, origin, handicap, marital status, sex or age. Additionally, the contractor shall ensure that minority and women owned businesses will be afforded full opportunity to submit subcontractor bids. There
shall be to the greatest extent permitted by law, requirements with respect to protection of freedoms of persons and organizations to engage in political and religious speech. Prevailing Wage: This project is subject to the requirements of the California Labor Code. Contractors and subcontractors shall pay all wages as specified by the General Prevailing Wage Code Section 1770. The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) determines prevailing wage rates. Such rates can be found on the DIR website at http://dir.ca.gov. All contractors bidding this project must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). the Contractor is Required to Furnish a Performance Bond in the Favor of Ltmwc in the Following Amounts. Faithful Performance (100%) of Contract Value; Labor and Materials (100%) of Contract Value. This Requirement Shall Not Apply to Any Contract Less Than $25,000.00 License: the Contract Shall Possess a California Class a License Along With the Availability of C12 and C34 Licenses. Time of Completion: All Work Shall Be Completed to the Satisfaction of Ltmwc in Conformance With the Executed Contract Document Within 60 Days After the Commencement of Work as Set by the Number of Working Days Specified.
