Reference Number 0000358454 The Work to be performed under the 2024 PRV Vault Improvement Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials equipment, tools, supplies including the demolition of old structures and installation of new cast in place and or pre-cast concrete vaults to increase access & maintenance sizes on various existing PRV Valve water vaults throughout the City of Aurora. The Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) & pipe work will be in the range of 6, 8 and 12 sizes. The Vaults will generally be in the 6 to 8 diameter precast sizes with one site requiring a 6 x 12 vault. The pipe materials will involve cast iron, Ductile Iron, & PVC pipe. The various sites will include high traffic volume roadways, excavation in the range of 8 to 10 in depth and dry utility coordination. Examples of subcontracting opportunities could include; Construction Videography, Surveying, Concrete placement, Asphalt placement, Traffic Control, Painting, Roadway Striping, Landscape replacement, etc. There will be a Special Outreach Meeting that is Open to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) for both Potential Prime Contractors and interested DBE Subcontractors on August 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Aurora Water's South East Area Maintenance Facility located at 26791 E Quincy Ave, Aurora, CO 80013. This non-mandatory meeting will be held in the Wild Horse Conference Room. All interested parties shall check in at the front desk.
