** As of September 9, 2024 this project has been awarded to Todd's Enviroscapes LLC with an awarded amount of $533,899.77.** The work covered by the plans and specifications includes furnishing all labor, equipment and the noted material for an outdoor space which includes concrete plaza areas, concrete stage, pergola, stone. retaining walls and seating, outdoor fire pits, synthetic turf, landscaping, compacted aggregate gathering areas, and required appurtenances. This improvement must attain Substantial Completion by October 18, 2024. All bidders must be qualified by experience and properly equipped to complete the work specified in the time allotted. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter1305 of the Ohio Revised Code. The amount of the certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit shall equal 10% of the full amount of the bid and the Successful Bidder will be required to submit a bond in the form provided in section 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code in conjunction with the execution of the contract. Said bond shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof except as provided in section 9.31 of the Ohio Revised Code. The City of Wadsworth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities therein. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery which must be at least 96 hours before the scheduled bid opening excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.
