The plans show, in a general manner, the site available for construction purposes. The information shown is not guaranteed and the Bidder must examine the site to be satisfied as to the conditions and difficulties that may be encountered in the execution of the work. The Contractor shall restore or replace all culverts, ditches, pavement, driveway, shrubs, signs, fences and any other property, either public or private, which is damaged as a result of the work of the contract. All such replacement shall be made in a manner satisfactory to the City Engineer and no extra payment shall be made for such work. Conditional bids are not acceptable. The work of the contract shall be commenced within ten (10) days after the City gives the Contractor notice to proceed unless the notice to proceed specifies a later time when the work of the contract shall be commenced. The Contractor shall notify the City Engineer, in writing, of its intention to enter upon the site of the work, at least five (5) days in advance of such entrance. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
