The Bobcat Trail will be 7,810 LF of non-motorized, multi-use, and multi-directional natural surface trail on the north side of the adjacent airport runway with a trailhead and gravel parking area with a four foot by four-foot informational sign. The trail will have multiple jump features, where suitable, and also have alternate routes around the jump features. The owner's target date for trails being substantially complete is 9 months from the project commencement. All cutting and removal of trees on the trail can only happen during the period of 16 November 2024 till 14 March2025, due to bat activity, so that work must commence and be completed in the 16 November,2024 to 14 March, 2025 window. It has been designed and will be built with thought given to user experience, mitigating user conflicts, signage placement, and decreasing the impact on the property. With a tread width of24"-36" and a corridor width of approximately 10'-12', this trail will comply with the IMBA best practices for building sustainable trail.
