Louisville Metro Emergency Services (LMES) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to design, supply, install, and support a state-of-the-art audio-video (AV) system for our Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The current AV system is outdated and unable to meet the demands of modern emergency management operations. Last upgraded in 2018, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) AV system has proved itself to be robust and able to handle the challenges of all emergencies and planned events, both large and small. However, given its near constant use for emergencies and other events, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) AV system is now suffering from equipment failures and likewise needs to be upgraded to meet current technology standards. The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) AV system provides video and control mechanisms to multiple rooms throughout the MetroSafe facility. Louisville Metro Emergency Services (LMES) holds all vendors to the highest standard when designing a new AV system so that redundancy, resiliency, and customization is at the forefront of operations. Louisville Metro Emergency Service (LMES) will provide detailed photos and design overview with this Request for Proposal (RFP). Louisville Metro Emergency Services (LMES) will also require all vendors to meet or exceed strict requirements as it relates to the functionality of any hardware or software.
