RFQ Questions Due - October 25, 2024 The Greene County Community School District serves approximately 9,000 people living in the surrounding areas that include but not limited to Jefferson, Dana, Grand Junction, Rippey and Scranton with education centers located in Jefferson. The district has approximately 1200 students from the preschool program up to the high school level. In recent years, the district hired OPN Architects and Modus Engineering to design the Greene County High School and Career Academy. The design of the High School included infrastructure for solar panels to be added in the future. The Middle School and Elementary School may require infrastructure upgrades to allow for solar panels to be added. The district also hired Atwood Energy Services to complete a full energy analysis of all three schools and to look at Rebates and Incentives, Utility Rates, past and future electric bills, and payback periods.
