After a resting period that allows the brick and mortar to properly dry so as not to encapsulate moisture in the wall and voiding the effectiveness ofthe sealer, seal the complete northside and westside of brick with siloxane type sealer to perform a greater duration of durability. Protect all glass to prevent overspray ofsealer, all glass is to be cleaned at the conclusion ofthe project if any overspray occurs. The winning contractor will be responsible for the use of a lift that is necessary to perform this work. Contractor is responsible for proper notification to the Library and local users ifthe rear parking lot will need to be closed while this work is being done. Ifthe parking lot does need to be closed, the contractor will be required to obtain a closing permit from the City's Engineering Dept. Repair all missing mortar at the base ofthe wall on the northside. As well as removing and replacing all the isolation joint between the slab and the brick face on the entire northside ofthe building. See attached photo.
