Renovation and addition to a library in Canterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the addition of a library.
The project includes the addition of a children s room and reading room spaces to the existing library facility. Minor interior alterations will be required to accommodate the new additions. Site development will also be required to accommodate the work. The project is separated into Base Bid scope and (2) Add Alternates. This is a Public Works project and will require the payment of Prevailing Wage Rates. Refer to the current Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount Notice to Proceed: September 18, 2024. Anticipated Construction Start: Not later than October 1, 2024. Anticipated Final Completion Date: Not later than 360 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
