Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Canterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Contract consists the construction of a tennis court and basketball court and associated work. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid, and to waive any informality in the bids received if it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town to do so. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of bid opening thereof. Should there be reason why the co ntract cannot be awarded within the specific period, this time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Town and the designated, qualified low Bidder. The Town is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer. Any questions regarding specifications, policies and procedures are to be directed to CLA Engineers, Inc. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
