Gillham Road and Linwood Blvd Armour Blvd 39th Street The City of Kansas City, Missouri ("City") invites you to submit a proposal for design professional services. The Gillham Road Cycle Track was constructed in the summer of 2021 from Brush Creek Blvd. north to 22 nd St. For much of Gillham Rd., a northbound traffic lane was removed to construct the cycle track. This placed additional demands on some intersections especially those requiring dedicated left turn lanes and signalization. The purpose of this project is to take a deeper look at three intersections (Gillham Rd & Linwood Blvd, Gillham Rd & E. Armour Blvd, Gillham Rd & E. 39 th Street) along the cycle track and see how the intersection geometry and operation could be improved with regard to bicyclists, pedestrians, and vehicular movement and safety.
