Site work for a water / sewer project in New Boston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: 1. Base Bid: Replacement of approximately 5,600 L.F. of 8" water line with associated appurtenances. 2. Alternate Bid #1: Installation and replacement of approximately 1,900 L.F. of 8" water line with associated appurtenances. 3. Alternate Bid #2: Removal of approximately 5,600 L.F. of existing 8" water line with associated appurtenances. 4. Alternate Bid #3: Removal of approximately 1,100 L.F of 8" and 2" water line with associated appurtenances. Location: New Boston City Hall - 301 NE Front St., New Boston, TX 75570. The deadline to ask questions is 8/12/2024 5:00 PM CST. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Contract Documents. Owner anticipates that the Project's total base bid price will be approximately $0.85M. The Project has an expected duration of 180 days. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond (on the form included in the Contract Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of the Article 6 of the Agreement.
