Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Beverly, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Work Includes, but Not Necessarily Limited to, Box Widening, Milling and Pavement Overlay, Cement Concrete Sidewalks, Cement Concrete Pedestrian Curb Ramps, Granite Curbing and Edging, Drainage System Modifications, Installation of a Traffic Signal, Traffic Signs, Pavement Markings, and Other Related Work. Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Certified or Bank Checks or Bid Bond, Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Amount of the Bid Deposit Shall Be an Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bidder's Maximum Total Bid Price, Payable to the City of Beverly, Massachusetts. The Bid Security Will Be Retained Until the Successful Bidder Has Executed the Contract With the City and Provided All Bonds and Insurance Binders, Whereupon It Will Be Returned. If the Bidder Fails to Execute the Contract and Provide the Additional Documentation Within Five (5) Working Days of the Notice of Award, the City May Annul the Award and the Bid Security Will Be Forfeited. Questions Concerning This Invitation for Bids Must Be Submitted in Writing by Email to: David Gelineau Purchasing Agent, City of Beverly, 191 Cabot Street, Beverly, Ma 01915, E-mail: Dgelineau@beverlyma.gov at Least Five (5) Calendar Days Before the Date Set Herein for Bid Opening. Question Deadline 08/09/2024 All Bidders Must Be Prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Highway Division (Online) in the Category of "Highway Construction" in the Amount of $1,909,260.73 in Order to Submit Bids for the Work. Bids From Individuals or Firms That Are Not Eligible to Bid as Determined by Online Will Not Be Accepted. No Pre-bid Meeting Will Be Held for This Project.
