The Village of Vernon Hills, 290Evergreen Drive, Vernon Hills, IL ("Owner") invites sealed Bidder's Proposals for the Work described in detailin the Contract and generally described as follows: VillageWide Fence Improvements. Bid Security, Bond andInsurance. A. Proposal Guarantee. A Proposal Guaranteein the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall berequired. Bank Cashier's Check, Bank Draft, or CertifiedCheck made payable to the Village of Vernon Hills, shallaccompany all proposals. In lieu of a Performance Bond,the Village shall retain the successful bidder's ProposalGuarantee for the duration of the work. B. Insurance. Thesuccessful Bidder will be required to furnish certificatesand policies of insurance as required by the Contract uponaward of the Contract. Work will take place at 5 different locations throughout the Village and include the removal and replacement of existing chain link and split rail fences as well as new fence installation.
