The Services include design of 5.8 miles of 42-inch welded steel raw water pipeline and associated appurtenances, including but not limited to, air release valves, mainline isolation valves, blow-off valves, drain valves, manways, temporary pipe bulkheads, corrosion protection system, and fiber optic conduit. To be minimally qualified for consideration for award, proposing firms must have successfully completed two (2) water pipeline projects in the western United States with a similar degree of complexity, size, geography, and location within the past ten (10) years. Proposing firms must have a minimum of two (2) staff members with licensure as professional engineers in the State of Colorado who will be assigned to the Project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. ***Bid Event: Physical proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the proposing firm's name and address and "Request for Proposals, Thornton Water Project - Segment F Design, Project No. 12-777H9". Proposals delivered by mail or courier service shall be in the sealed envelope inserted into a separate mailing envelope. On the outside of the mailing envelope note "Proposal Enclosed, Thornton Water Project - Segment F Design, Project No. 12-777H9".
