Site work and paving for a civil project in Wedowee, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The project will consist of the following approximate quantities of work: 6,875 CY of Borrow, 1067 CY of Structure Excavation, 445 SY of Crushed Agg Base Course, 120 tons of asphalt, 52 CY of Culvert Concrete, 240 LF of 96" Roadway Pipe; all other labor, material, equipment, and work required or implied by the Contract Documents (Plans and Specifications). Upon submission of proposal, Bidders must submit their Contractors license number and a copy of said license. Any bid not containing a current license number shall be rejected. Each Bidder must submit with its bid a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank or a fully executed bid bond on the form that is contained in the Contract Documents executed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make bond in the State of Alabama. All bonds, sureties and/or cashier checks shall be made payable to the Randolph County Commission for an amount not less than 5 percent of the Engineer's estimated cost of the project or of the total bid in the proposal. In no event shall the amount be more than $10,000.00.
